Whole lotta nothin'

For all the build-up, the feared Day of Protests turned out to be nothing. I did a little walkaround in the evening time - everything was quiet, even quieter than usual, and the streets were the emptiest I've ever seen since coming here. Guess everyone decided to stay inside, either to avoid the riots or to avoid a day with no customers. It was a little sad to see the guy at the busstop trying to drum up customers for his vehicle - not a soul in sight that wanted to go to Area 17. Not a good day for public transportation business.

Off to the maternity ward this morning! My little Ob-Gyn-loving heart flutters.
